Advent Book Of Days
$16.99
Drawing from the medieval tradition of the illuminated Book of Hours, Gregory Cameron has created a collection of visio divina for Advent.
The aim of this little volume is to give everyone who celebrates Christmas some spiritual food to nurture them through the journey of Advent.
There is a chapter for each day from December 1 to December 25, with a reflection drawing upon scriptures, history, and legend about the “character” of the day (for example, Gabriel, the Virgin Mary, the Star, the Magi, and of course the Christ Child). The text is augmented by an illustration from the author adapted from famous works of art, depicting various aspects of the Christmas story through the centuries.
